Supporters of Tiritiri Matangi Island

The Supporters of Tiritiri Matangi is a non-profit conservation volunteer group founded in 1988 to further the aims of the Tiritiri Matangi conservation project. When you visit Tiritiri Matangi Island you can pre-book a guided walk up to the lighthouse with one of the many knowledgeable Supporters of Tiritiri Matangi volunteers.  During the walk you will hear about the island's history, learn about the conservation work that is done and spot some of the rare birds that are found on the island.

Guided walks can be booked at the time of purchasing your ferry tickets for an additional $10 Adult | $2.50 Child
